Philippa Bower
Philippa Bower studied art at the San Miguel art college in Mexico.
Her work has been influenced by the defined shapes and vibrant colours of Mexican art, including their folk art.
For many years she has exhibited at the Arts and Flowers Show in East Preston, as well as selling privately.
She is now one of the resident artists at Pier Road Coffee & Art in Littlehampton.
“I have always loved art,” says Philippa, “and have continued to learn throughout my life. I am so pleased that I am now able to devote the time to what has become more than a hobby.”
Kevin Hicks
Trained at Berkshire college of Art.
After running a multi-million pound business organising exhibitions and events worldwide, Kevin is now able to get back to his roots as a digital artist and photographer.
He uses Nikon professional equipment to get top-quality photographs, which he enhances into works of art. The final works are printed with Epson K3 inks which will not fade for at least 80 years.
As well as galleries, Kevin’s work is displayed in room settings in a well-known furniture chain.
In running this Affordable Art Exhibition, he is offering the public a chance to buy his work at bargain prices.
“For this exhibition I have concentrated on pictures of Worthing, from historic buildings to the picturesque seafront. It is a town I have known and loved for many years and I hope my love shows through these works.”
